Martha Stewart CBD Line for Pets Launches
Long-time Partnership Between Stewart and Canopy Growth Now Paying Off – LPC
The Martha Stewart CBD line for pets launches next month after a long-time partnership with Canopy Growth. The products will be available on Canopy’s e-commerce websites and on Franchise Group Inc’s The Vitamin Shoppe website in the US next month. No word on whether or not it will be available in Canada.
“My dogs are not only my companions, but they are part of my family,” Stewart said. “I prioritize their emotional and physical well-being as I do my own.”
Stewart partnered with Canopy Growth nearly two years ago to advise on CBD products. (The Reuters article below incorrectly reports it is a nearly one-year relationship.) Since the announcing the Martha Stewart CBD line, other celebrities including Gwenyth Paltrow and Seth Rogen have announced their own cannabis deals.
Grand View Research Inc. estimated last year that pet CBD products will reach sales of about $400 million by 2027 in the US. That would be more than ten times growth in seven years. So far, the Martha Stewart CBD line leading the pack.
