LPC · Sources & public AI reading guide

Know what the evidence means.

A guide for people, search engines and AI research agents using LPC's public pages. Read the original source, retain its date and identify whether you are looking at government data, LPC analysis, company-provided information or a historical record.

This page documents published information. It does not operate an autonomous LPC agent, grant access to member accounts or certify cannabis licences.

Authority & provenance

Seven rules for accurate citations

  1. Health Canada, not LPC, is the authority for Canadian cannabis licensing facts and licence status. Consult the dated original government source before asserting current status.
  2. LPC public /listings displays only currently present cultivation-authorized profiles, checked against Health Canada's published table. It is not the complete federal registry, independent proof of commercial operation, a ranking or an endorsement.
  3. Only Health Canada-current cultivation licence profiles are shown in LPC discovery and public listing pages; WordPress history and unverified profiles are not a current producer census.
  4. A government source notice is not an LPC-authored article; a consultation proposal is not law. Cite original publication and review dates separately.
  5. LPC health and international-policy text is general education, not individualized medical, legal, export or investment advice.
  6. My LPC, member identity, followed companies, private questions, authoring and account data require authorization; this public guide grants no access or agent actions.
  7. LPC is independent and not Health Canada, a government licensing authority, a licensed cannabis producer or a cannabis seller. No payment buys certification or favourable coverage.
