My name is Andru Branch and I began working at Canabo Medical Clinic in 2019, where I earned a certification as a Cannabis Educator through Aleafia Health’s FoliEdge Academy. I worked as an educator for a year until I left to open my own Cannabis Counselling business online during the pandemic. I was hired by Aurora Cannabis in 2021, where I enjoyed working as a Client Care agent, helping clients navigate registration, product selection and utilizing cannabis for therapeutic purposes.
I started my cannabis journey in Jamaica in the ’90s, where I had the great fortune of recording music with members of Bob Marley’s band, The Wailers. It was there that I began to learn about the healing properties of “ganja” from the Rastafarian elders. Eventually I moved to Halifax, where I earned a diploma with honours as a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Studying anatomy and physiology provided the foundation for understanding disease states and inspired me to complete an introductory neuroscience course through the University of Toronto.
I approach my work as a Certified Cannabis Educator with empathy and compassion and I take pride in patiently assisting clients to find appropriate products to promote effective symptom management.
